Synnex brand and modular web design

I was the brand and design lead for Synnex from 2017-2019. I had the opportunity to develop their co-branded style guides, make digital marketing materials such as ads, eBooks, and infographics, and most importantly, create a modular design system for their landing pages and emails so ensure fast turn, cohesive, yet unique campaigns.

Amazon Web services

Amazon Web Services approached us for help sprucing up their Financial Services microsite. They needed on brand illustrations, better user flow and navigation, less redundancy, and partner templates that were clear, useful, and beautiful.

I worked as a UX/ UI designer along side a writer, a strategist, and a visual designer to update the microsite. We focused on accessibility and best web practices, clarity of message and user flow, and elevating and modernizing the design.

Yesler gated Asset

Yesler, one of the nations top B2B agencies, was looking to attract partners with a gated downloadable asset. I was tasked with translating their brand into something a bit flashier for use in this campaign. Their brand is angle-rich and boasts deep gradients and pops of orange and teal.

I focused on feelings of motion and growth, playing up their angles in the buttons as well as layout and division of the page. The angles support a user experience through the page and clearly outline what content is important and how to navigate through the page and into the next pages.
This design is responsive (you can view mobile) and is supported with a “Thank you” page and email in the same look and feel.

Alki Surf shop

Alki Surf Shop is a true Hawaiian experience gift shop in the Alki neighborhood of Seattle. Kahuna Dave, it’s owner, is locally famous and every review of the store mentions him. The store is brimming with character and Dave puts it over the top with his royal conch shell sendoff to anyone who comes through the doors. But their site was lacking all of that amazing character.

This was a very fun project to give their site some clearer user flow through site mapping and wire framing. It was important to me to bring more of Dave into the site since he is such a focus for visitors to the storefront. I also did all of the illustrations to really bring their site to life and send it over the top in it’s Hawaiian vibes. Nothing can compare with actually going in and meeting Dave yourself, but the site design stays consistent with the in store experience now.
